I got this domain a while ago,

Im thinking if i play my cards right, and develop this one correctly i can evade the TM issues.

So without TM issues, what value is there for it?

you will have Tm issues, plus, what kind of site will you develop out of it? a discussion about google? maybe SEO? or adsense and adwords? i'm sorry mate, but I see it going nowhere but to the steps of the courthouse.

why do you see that going to the court house? I mean it really is a harmless domain, I don't think that google will go to court over that.

as i mentioned;

I will be boosting there popularity etc. by the way i would develop, so i very much doubt they would even approach me, and if they did, it would just be to take the domain...

My advice to anyone asking for appraisals on domains they know to have TM issues is: DON'T... you only draw attention to yourself with the post and the post will be spidered by Google in short order... most knowledgable and responsible people here will give a thumbs down appraisal anyway.

Own a problematic domain? Don't talk about it in a public forum... TM issues don't go away and pointing them out to everyone within earshot is to your decided disadvantage.

Just some friendly advice...

Why limit yourself with a "google", "ipod", or other TMed domain? A generic domain serves the same pupose without the potential headaches...

Merely mentioning the possibilities of a TM issue immediately put you at risk.

what I don't understand is this: If a half descent domain comes here for appraisal all you say is that its worth: "reg fee" "nothing" and it actually has to be a domain like loan.com for you to want to make it worth something, just wondering, to you are domains either worth nothing or everything?

I try to call them like I see them.. at least 99% of the domains people post here for appraisals require branding and development before the domain would have any real value IMO.

A lot of factors influence value.. ext being one of them. A halfway decent domain in .com may be worthless or nearly so in .bz, because of the recognition issues...

A high value keyword domain will always be worth more than a madeup domain... I could go on and on, but I won't.

not you in particular, and I wasn't trying to be rude, just in case I came across that way. But here, I either here, its worth reg fee or its woth thousands. But at the end of the day most the domains valued at "reg fee" will most likely go for higher than that.
