Google results?!?!?

Hi,

After running my blog gohabs.ca for a while, I decided to put it down and park the domain at sedo since I didn't have time to update it anymore. If you searched "go habs" on google, my site used to be second, even after I parked it. However, I was checking 3 days ago, and gohabs.ca don't appear in any page of google results. Is it normal?

My 2 cents, if you want to park the domain try to make it profitable.

Google will not index it as it is parked and Sedo is not good solution at all either to sell or partk domains. I did it once with top dot.com sites that never were sold and made $0 after 2 years parked there.

yeah, if ur visitorsnotice the domain leads to a parked page they wud stop going there and hence reduce traffic to your site...

Your site is still in the Google index, try searching site:gohabs.ca But its search engine ranking probably droipped when you parked it that's why you don't see it in the top results like before.

Yes if it appears in the google results, at least that page is indexed.

I parked it because I assumed that, since I am not updating it, people won't come check it that often. I had less visitors, but google was indexing it second for 3 weeks after I parked it. Why did I park it? The obvious reason to make some money out of it. It actually made around 6$ since I parked it.

Its PR is 0, but iwebtool.com expects it to have a PR of 5 in the next update. Not sure how accurate this is.
