Google has a much better reputation in general over paypal (search relevant forums).
Also, google is big enough, and international enough to pull this one off.
I hope they go ahead and do it.
They already deal with credit cards and payments because of adwords and adsense, so this seems like the next natural step.
Stephen, remember Yahoo Wallet?Stephen said:So much for those who thought it would be named Google Wallet.
I tihnk they will be successful with it, to what extent I do not know.
The only way I will sign up is after it has became popular and everyone and their uncle has an account like Paypal has become.
More power to you, Google.
If it gets popular then eBay just has to add it, they would be losing too much money if they would leave out one of the most popular payment options.lee101 said:oh, sounds great, if it doesn't have the restrictions of receiving money like paypal does on personnal accounts(nopayment from credit/debit card) i will definately , but i'll definately sign up anyway, but i wonder if ebay will have it as a payment option! somehow i think not
