My .info site is ranked about 2 millions in Alexa, and traffic been going up.

But I found out Google sech on my keywords gone really bad, a month ago I my site can be found on page 10 of the key word, now it dropped to page 18.

it's a "Keyword".info so I am wondering do Goggle favour .com/net/org to .info?

Domain extensions have nothing to do with SERPs.

Google do not hate or like any specific domain extension.

Domain extension only is considered when talking about geographical search.

How old is your site?

Google give a New Content Boost to new pages and new sites, this boost helps them rank high in search results. But this boost is only temporary.

May be your site was new and had this boost and now when that boost is gone or decreased, your SERPs dropped.

Maybe its a matter of symantics, but I am 100% sure it is harder to get and keep a .info indexed and/or out of the Google "sandbox" than a .com.

Once you establish trust for your .info, then maybe it is put back on a level playing field with the rest of the TLDs.

yes, seeing google reps have said they have been used in the past for SERPs, and there is little evidence of well performing .infos, i'm not sure how they can "prove" that they don't matter?

is it just they "don't think so"? or have they done objective tests with identical names hm?
