Google offering free .co.uk to UK visitors

Hi All,

I'm sure some of you will be aware Google are hosting an open office next Thursday 25th February in London and giving away a free website and domain name (.co.uk) as a thankyou for attending. Sadly I won't be able to make it to London that day but I wouldn't mind taking the Google office tour in future, and the free name is simply a bonus.

So you have to physically attend, just signing up for a webcast or so doesn't count? Too bad that I'm not in the UK anymore (I used to live in Northern Ireland) and that the flights are expensive (although even with a low budget, the price of a .co.uk would still be lower than a low budget flight to London and back)

Does Google plan to take their tour to any other European cities as well with a similar offer?

Wish I lived a bit closer, wouldn't mind a look around the google office but it's too far to drive just for that.
