Google Conflicts?

Would I get into conflicts with Google if I make a name for example: NAMEoogle?

Probably no problems as long as you don't try to use Google trademark somehow to mislead people.

This site is "oogle" related and has been online for awhile, though no as domain name

Why whould someone be sued for using oogle? How many people out there use lots of other words and phrases that are trademarked or copyrighted. My opinion, you might get sued only for using it for any topic related to search or make it something like antioogle or dieoogle

oogle really has nothing to do with "google", right?

Because really google is one word, and oogle is another word. So I think you would be safe using oogle.

oogle should be safe as long as you don't create anything that is confusingly similar to google on your site...such as a logo

Its doesnot matter to google unless u start saying that u are part of google or cheat people in name of google. Till then google wont come looking for you

TMs protest against similar or CONFUSINGLY similar marks. If you make a sight similar to google or somehow use the name to try to direct traffic away from Google, then there could be problems.
