The domain holds no value without the company. I assure you that if the company 'GOOGLE' sold you the domain and moved to a different domain and provided the same service that they do now, but on a different domain... the hits on it would decline at such a rate that it would be useless.

Google has a Market Cap of $225.77B (source: YahooFinance , definitions of terms) ... and I don't think they would sell the domain unless you buy the whole company ...

Oh, what an expanding mind to think of such thing. Google is worth the whole Internet in my book, and they would not even sell their company, I am sure it could just be in our dreams. If you owned Google, would you sell it? ~ figure..
