Hello Np ers,
i believe that google has changed there algorithms for the benefit of mobi domains. ive noticed a dramatic increase in search results this week.. so much so that one of my mobi sites is earning over $10 a day thanks to google traffic. has you can see in the screen shot from this google search all extentions for the name sexpersonal are regged and being used but low and behold mobi comes in second in this search :) Other sites that used to come up on the 10th page of google searches now showup in 3-10 place on the first page and it doesnt matter whether there are 200 results or 200,00 mobi is rocking there way to the top. Has anybody else noticed there rise in google searches or this just because of the last pagerank update?

Are you earning $10 per month per domain or $10 per month for all of the domains combined?

Just curious.

Thanks

$10.00 a month is the combined total of all parked domains at namedrive.

^ All 600 combined?

I'd like to see a fully developed and promoted stand-alone Google.mobi for use by those that are "on the go" ... that then it having an algorithm/programming that benefited uniquely developed .MOBI websites in its primary search results IMHO. :gl:
Now, that would be substantial (from an .MOBI "backer")! :music: :talk: :imho:

Jeff: the turkey has to go, IMHO.
:imho:
I'm not an expert on interpreting the finer points of the rules, but whatever the letter thereof might be I think (IMHO) you are entitled to inform the forum with each posting that a certain third party has been placed on ignore - as long as you remove the turkey pic.
:imho:

Then again, what you do with your signature is your business. Feel free to ignore my humble opinion.

If they have (as many other people have suggested), focusing more on mobile seems to be working:

Relevant Excerpts with my emphases:
------------------
Wednesday October 31, 10:10 am ET

Google Stock Price Soars Above $700 for First Time, Making Trip From $600 in Less Than a Month
....

The latest surge came after Google confirmed plans to become a bigger force in the Internet's social networking scene and amid reports that the company is about to unveil a long-rumored operating system designed for mobile phones so it can make more money by distributing ads to people on the go.
....
With a market value of nearly $220 billion, Google also is now worth more than Warren Buffett's holding company, Berkshire Hathaway Inc., whose steadfast refusal to split its stock during the past four decades has left its shares at nearly $130,000.
...
Now, Google appears intent on shaking up the telecommunications industry by introducing inexpensive cell phones that will make it easier for people on the go to use Google's search engine, maps, e-mail and other applications.

If it pans out, the new Google phone presumably will give the company a chance to sell more mobile advertising and further boost its profits.

u8l2, you seem to be on the right side of a big wave!

Well Im certain google has changed the way they rate mobi sites. klubs used to come up on page 10-12 for searches like "new york night club" or "los angeles night club" and now im on the first page of mobile web results. klubs has only gained 1 pagerank since the last update so that isnt it either. It is very exciting to watch mobi grow :)

Hi Rob

I gather you like Shania Twain ;)
Funny enough I was lucky enough to do some work for "Mutt (Green Thumb) Lange" (her now husband) about 17 years ago... I was a tree surgeon & worked on his Estate (50acres) on the Surrey / Hampshire borders..
He was producing the likes of Def Leppard (Hysteria album) at the time (yours truly got concert tickets & a gratis CD ;)
He's one hell of a guy... I was on site for a few weeks & I never saw him without a guitar in his hands.... he just seemed to carry it all day; a genius!

I was only in my late teens at the time - it was cool, every now & then a limo would come down his drive & we'd catch glimpses of Billy Ocean or the Leps!
When I looked into his back catalogue I was amazed - AC/DC - Foreigner - Heart - to name a few..

Anyway, I'm well off-topic again... which of your sites are you getting your $10 a day from? I'm feeling in need of inspiration!

Regards

Gary

Yes i love shania for sure.. mutt lange is the one who used a 24 track recorder for def leppards live vocals. very clever. i have saw the UP! tour and Shania's backup vocals were flawless just like def leppards hehe.
So i assume your close to sheffield then? Someday ill plan a nightout at Gatecrashers :P oops im on the wrong continent...
Ive 10 sites up and running with admob ads but nothing comes close to topforty's earnings which on the 21st of sept earned $11.00 alone.

What G needs is a search option for mobile. i.e., images, video, news, maps, froogle, mobile...

the mobile option returns only mobile sites - Now that I am typing this I am realizing that a legitimate Google.mobi would accomplish the same thing - and have the mobile choice from google.com, which essentially sends the search to google.mobi.

This is absolutely useful and even if I wasn't in the .mobi game I would still want this.

Hi again,

Nowhere near Sheffield... I used to be over 150miles south of Sheffield & now I'm just under 150miles North of Sheffield...

When you're name is Mutt, the Lepps come to you ;)

Funny you mention Gatecrasher... its one of the few clubs I didn't get to (& I'm feeling a bit past it now ;)

I was well into my Rock... I saw the Leps on the Pyromania tour then the Hysteria tour.... and then the ummm what was it called??? tour??

With a 2 armed drummer, a 1 armed drummer & a dead guitarist...

Then I got into the whole Dance culture thing! ClubUK, The Fridge, Cream, Shindig, Heaven, Drum Club, The Arches, Slippery when wet, Clockwork Orange, Fubar, milk bar.... Oh God...I miss those days!!! :)

Them wuz good times..

Gary.
