Google Analytics

Hi Everyone,

I would like to make a general inquiry about what Google Analytics is all avout. I received an invitation but I have no idea what services they provide. I do not use AdWords. I am wondering whether I should use my invite code or just sell it. What can GA do for me? Their site is very vague. Does it track hits to domains?

It usually comes as standard with your hosting cpanel. Like webalizer (though that sucks my [bleep])

Does anyone know in what time interval the stats are being updated daily? Once per hours, daily?

I still have the stats for this morning as my etracker is showing far more visitors realtime.

I wonder how long the invite code lasts? I received an invite today. I have a store I am planning on opening in the next few months and want to save it and then use the $25 adwords coupon. Anyone know how long it is good for? thanks.

I also see on DNF that some are offering them for sale, for as much as $999 per invite???

I love the program. I had never heard about it and then a friend put me on his account while I was waiting for an invite. It gives you so many crazy good stats it is hard not to want it. It is so good they could charge for it and make a fistfull!

ok my cpanel apparently doesn't have AW stats so I'll see how google analyalitics works. Anyone know why the only update 1x per day?

Applied for an invitation about five days ago...got it today.

I think the 1 update/day may be a result of server load? There was very high demand for it i believe.

I use it couple of times daily, and it updates about 5-6 times a day.

only to bad that:

Google Analytics generally updates your reports every 24 hours. This means that it could take 24 hours for data to appear in your account after you have first installed the tracking code.
