Google Adwords for TV?

Well this may be something old for some of you but I wasn't aware that google sold Tv spots for your ads etc. Anyone have any insight into this and how well it works? Just seen a few news articles about this and wanted to get some thoughts from fellow members

Yeah hasn't this been in beta for over a year. I am sure I read a few articles when it first started. The TV spots were invite only and going by th articles back then the adverts were very poor performing considering the high cost.

I used to read thatSearch Engine Round Table site quite a lot in the past, quite good if you like to keep upto date with search engine news.
