Google - 7 pg 1 results instead of 10

Google is now showing only 7 results instead of 10 on page 1 for some search queries. This seems be tied to the first result being displayed with sitelinks (often but not always branded searches.)

Seen a recent traffic drop in pages with rankings in spots 8-10? You might want to check this out.
