Good minisites or real good web site templates for my own content?

(Later edit: To any admin, I´m sorry, I now realized that this posting may be in the wrong topic so maybe it should be moved.)

I thought like this some months ago, I reg a lot of 0.99 .info domains with
free private reg the first year. Those sites I do that turn out to be good is worth to continue to pay renewal for. And I thought that .infos would at least be a third as profitable as .com, .net or even .org, so it would be more costworthy to do so.
But now, realizing how much time it takes to do web sites... hm.. well..
why not go for .net or .org instead or .com of course if available.

But it is boring to do websites all the way. It takes time. And since I have hundreds of domain names, all parked at sedo, which give no parking money at all, and I mean NO money bc I dount count in 50 or 75 cents a month. It´s weird, since afterall I do have some strong keyword domains and not even them bring in anything and even though I know that google has indexed many of them. I think that google index them in a deal with a sedo, for sedo´s value in front of their parkers, but with a #2538 or a like ranking which in practice is absolutely worthless.

I don´t like google for some reasons, not even their name .. ooggl.. blogl..ugly.. but google has a good point in that good content sites may be rewarded with better ranking. Google doesn´t care about the url, whether it be a business.com or freewebs.com/mikesownhomepage/something/business , google looks more at the content. And of course, how many other sites that link to the page, which partly is a bad system in my view.

However, to the subject. I am interested in writing and many of my domains are niched in their names so to park them is meaningless. It gives absolutely nothing. But if I could find a way to do minisites quickly, where I can have control over the content, where I can do fully unique content, wouldn´t that be the best?

I looked att 1plus.net but still, there is too much parking sense about it, tye design looks to overly commercialized. I know it works quite fine for some but I want to get trust from my content. If I write articles within my niches, I believe some will even bookmark my pages and so they will help to spread to others as well, to get known.

But as I wrote earlier, it takes a lot of time to do web sites and I am a one who makes the html myself, I dont´t like web site programs. I want to have control. But maybe there is more than I know of.

1. So... do you guys or anyone know of a way to do? Any real good minisite companies. Something that would suit me better than 1plus.net or even whypark.com which I havn´t tried.
Where I can alter the design easily, bring in my own images and only have some targeted ads, not long lists of ads not sticking to the subject of the page, since I aim for quality content.

I have also looked at free website templates on the net but i don´t like what I see. Not even those that cost $61 or whatever. They don´t look proffesional, just "(free) template (for $61 etc)"-looking. They might have too strong colors, which is a way to get buyers, it may look good first but after a while those strong colors may feel disturbing.

2. And if I could do it on my own, ie no minisite parking etc,
do you know any nice looking (even nice lookin in the long run) templates out there, easy to install, without inneccessary heavy loads of nerd coding in, I mean plain effective coding.

For suggestions, many thanks in advance!

Use Frontpage or Dreamweaver. Other than webmasters and techies, not many of your visitors will bother about your website design as long as it is easy to navigate and loads quickly (unless you are doing an entertainment or gaming related website).

Thanks for commentes! But I think I have no time to learn that now!! I have looked att free templates. I did that some years back too but I didn´t like anything then but now I think I am quite satisfied. Among a few, worth mentioning is www.oswd.org . I found one I liked but I have spent the whole day to modify some codes in it since I wanted an image to come at the bottom of the page no matter how much text there is on each page of the site. I got it fixed, but still I don´t don´t know how to put text in that bottom image, it may sound easy but in that page it was not, anyway I can use as it is now, and I can use it for several domains. And I made the domain name logo. I have already searched for new templates, now I am somewhat reexperienced already :) .
I think the best thing should be to do own minisites. Google just should reward those more than any other parking or semiminisite whatever options.

I know which of my sedo parked domains that are indexed by google so I focus on them first.

I know yahoo has indexed others I have but since most people use google I think I´d better go for what google has indexed. Anyone of you who knows how much google is used compared to yahoo, or any other, like msn?

So.. now gotta go on with the projects..

And bye the way, I have one other ministe that I did. I made the codes and design myself and it is the only one that earned me.. hm... these ca 7 dollars sofar.. in ca 6-7 weeks. And how? Because I put it in an article that I was first to do in wikipedia. And since wikipedia is so high ranked, you can put links in there if you have a good (mini)site, that is a very very strong instant way to get visitors. However, it should be recommended not to have ads in any link while providing it to a wikipedia article since the control is very rigid among the wikipedia staff.

With that said.. regards from here in Sweden...
