Good LLLLL.com`s vs bad LLLL.com`s

Hi,

There were many threads about 'strange' LLLL.com`s value such as idtj.com or smth. like that or even more unreadable ones, when there is still a lot of good, readable, and brandable 5 character .com`s like lirem.com or jareo.com are waiting for damainers ?

What do You think is there economical sense to reg easy readable 5 character .com domains? How much do they worth now? And how much can they increase?

LLL.coms are looking for the company like HSBC and also the spill-over rarety-value from LLL.com. 5L on the other hand is searching for the clever word that has not been thought of yet.

It all comes down to supply and demand.

The supply of unregistered 5 letter domains is 9million+ where the supply of unregistered 4 letter domains is less than 90000. (>1% of 9million+)

While there may be more nicer looking unregistered 5 letter domains, there is a higher probability of a company using a 4 letter domain for an acronym. There is also the advantage of the 4 letter domain being less work to type in.

Typically there is greater demand for a random 4 letter domain and a significantly lower supply and hence a significantly higher chance of getting a good resale price with.

I agree that lirem.com or jareo.com look and sound a lot better than idtj.com or smth.com but at the end of the day the 4 letter domains are a lot safer investment and a lot easier to sell.
