I plan to purchase a number of .in's, the best price I have found so far is $13.99 us and I have used the company before but I wondered if there is any others offering good deals on .in's at the moment and a place that is trustworthy?

You can also try Whiz.in - .INs for $13.59

I have my .INs in my WSDReg.com account right now, but I'm going to transfer to a cheaper registrar when it comes to renewing.

answerable.com is definitely the cheapest, and efficient.

Here is my mini review of Answerable.com after reading recommendations here and at another forum: I registered 3 .in's at Answerable.com but you first have to add funds to your account before your domains will be registered which was a real pain so I waited for an hour just to be told this. Then after I finally registered them I found they have that horrible control panel like Stargate have and I tried to add privacy to my domains which comes free with registers that use this control panel but it is real dog, it never worked and I just got a nasty error. I finally got tired of trying and sent a support ticket and even that had errors as it was asking for a login & password. So my verdict is, Answerable.com have a good price but a lousy system, I would much rather pay a few more dollars if I have to for a decent control panel & something that actually works.

I'm not complaining, I'm happy as I got my domains but it was a little bit frustrating and I would rather pay a bit more next time, I guess you get what you pay for but it is not Answerable.com but that lousy domain management interface and whoever makes that needs a big wakeup call as it is absolutely horrible. I have a free stargate reseller account that has that interface but I never use it.

Krossat I have given you rep anyway for trying to help.

oh man im sorry if u had trouble with it, because when i registered my domains, it was just check -> add -> pay.
i didnt need to add funds, just paid when i did a checkout.
I didnt add privacy tho, so i guess it must be a bummer doing that. It was easy for me to push names and change account info and nameservers, so thought for the minimum price, it works.
Sorry for not evaluating it more before suggesting :guilty:

no problem Krossat & I'm sure you were just trying to help...

I'm not sure what happened but first I opened an account then after I opened that I was instantly logged in I registered my 3 domains (3 .in's in my sig) but I used the bulk register feature so maybe the normal one is ok.. ? anyway after I added my 3 domains to my account I submitted it. I was then shown a message about it might take an hour to process them etc but it was weird as it never asked for my cc or payment so I gathered I would get an email in an hour with details on how to pay...

so after any hour i was getting a bit nervous all this time as I was hoping my domains would not be taken after reading of all the horror stories about domains you go to order get taken etc... :| I did get an email about my new account but it took over an hour to get the following email:

organicproduce.in- Fund Error - Error: InSufficient Funds.
naturalfood.in - Fund Error - Error: InSufficient Funds.
falling.in - Fund Error - Error: InSufficient Funds.

So I then logged into the control panel and entered all my credit card details and added $40 and then tried registering the names again and this time it worked. :bingo:

I'm still waiting for my support ticket about the privacy but I'm not even sure if they got that as I also got an error message when I submitted that.

For .in , it is not possible to enable privacy due to Registry rules
