What extensions more prevalent in these countries?

While I have recently been concentrating on registering some geo generics, I often wonder whether a .com would be equally in demand in the following countries as it is for the US.

What is the prime extension for the following countries? Like for New Zealand, its all about .co.nz (lets say like 90% .co.nz and 10% .coms); India (50% .in's and 50%.coms) so practically lesser scope to reg and keep a .com two worder.

How do these countries fare in the usage and development of their own ccTLD Vs .com/net/org?

almost 100% .ca on TV commercials, old sites use .com

China
Largest web sites usually use .com (90% .com, 10% .com.cn/.cn)

So China has a good scope for .com's then? I always thought China was very .cn specific. Good to hear!

Australia, just like New Zealand has adapted to their ccTLD very well and arent looking to expand into .com's, so i'd guess australian .com generics could be avoided?

I can see that changing quite dramatically in the coming years with a huge push from the Chinese authorities to increase their national identity online with .cn - getting that confirmed by domainers from China.
