GoDaddy woes

I started using them a while back (backorder service).

I find it funny that they got the first 3 Domains one right after another. They all had bids at NW, one was at $151. At that point seeing the results 3 for 3 I kinda thought GoDaddy was great.

I went ahead and bought more obviously thinking I would continue to catch Domains, boy was I wrong, they missed the next 9 attemps in a row :(

They weren't amazing names niether, simular to the first 3 which GoDaddy did get for me.

I started thinking to myself that they probubly seen I was a new client and wanted to do their best to catch them for me to get me hooked. I can't say for sure that it's the reason and chances are I just got lucky but it still gets me to wondering hmm....

I did feel a bit better when even NW missed the names I was after, I guess I cant poop on GD if NW wasnt even able to catch them.

I still use GD BO and have started catching some low end names, I guess these are the only type they have a good chance of winning with the odd exception.

I have no other problems with GoDaddy besides the BO system.

Attention RJ and others,

How about putting up a "hit or miss" counter where NP'ers could record their BO attempts?

Good idea? Yes?

I demand a pot of $NPs for this most excellent idea! :)

Well, I got one with GD so far, out of 2 attempts.

I have lost Domain-Host.com which was a shame.

I presently have been waiting for ooo, about 3.5 weeks for another. A 3 letter .net - hehe...I doubt I'll get it, but we shall see :)

I have another that drops on Friday, so we shall see :)
