GoDaddy Warning

Well with the other news about godaddy lately, I had not seen this here and thought it warrented its own thread.

Here is someone who had his domain stolen by godaddy. They lied to him, till I helped him make his case that the domain had never expired and was just transfered at godaddy using whois data for him.

If you don't nenew your domain names you can lose them.
Who doesnt know that. Godaddy didnt steal anything.

Read the thread, he did renew it and was in the grace periods. They took the money to process the renewal, and lied about it dropping. Godaddy indeed did not steal anything, but it was not for lack of trying on their part.

not sure what you agree or disagree with. Godaddy sold the domain, lied to the orginal owner and did not give it back till an ICANN complaint was made.
Are you defending godaddy due to the person who was wronged making a gramatical mistake?

I don't understand why some people still defend GD after years of mistreating domainers, and especially after the latest scandals.
they are not a football team that one whould be loyal to. This is a company that has repeatedly showed its disrespect to domainers over and over again.
