GoDaddy Transfer Problem Alert.

I just reviewed my godaddy account for all transfers of domains to my godaddy account since May. Many of the domains had nocontactsfound@... as my email address. Other domains had my complete address on one line. Others had my name in the address field, while others had my name omitted. I had to update all of my domains in my godaddy account to ensure that my registrant info was complete and accurate.

It could be that godaddy's automated transfer system reads all transferring registrars' domain account info the same way, which is a problem since each registrar's format for registrant info is different.

One more thing. The nameserver info on these domains was incorrect, so I had to redo the godaddy parking option for each of my transferred to godaddy domains.

I recommend that anyone who has ever transferred a domain to godaddy log in to your account and click on the edit link in the registrant info section to make sure that everything is accurate and where it is supposed to be.

Can't we make bulk changes in it.

Means I always select the domains which I want to update and then make bulk changes to it.

Bulk change is the way to go. Should always check whois info after any transfer in, doesnt matter who the registrar is, although some handle it a whole lot better than others.
