Go Daddy sent out an email about customers joining a new “Customer Council” that they say will you have some input into new products and services.

Here's the email that was sent:

We are putting together a select group of GoDaddy users to help shape our future! We are calling it the “Customer Council” and as part of our team, you will help us grow and be involved with future changes. once or twice per month, we will ask you to complete a short survey to provide us with feedback to help improve our products and user interface. Customer Council members will get an inside scoop as to what is going on at GoDaddy and will see how their input impacts GoDaddy decisions. As an added bonus, council members will be entered into special drawings!

This is an exclusive opportunity to help make GoDaddy everything you need and want it to be. Space is limited, so please click the link below and sign up to Join the Council!

They're only accepting applications from the USA. There goes a good idea down the drain.

Well they used to have a "Site Suggestion" button, but they took that off the site.

If they would just put that back on the site, they might get some "Site Suggestions". How hard it is. It's not rocket science.

I find bugs on the site all the time. They did fix one thing that was bugging me. They made it so you could see more than 3 domains on the domain management page. It was a pain to scroll thru 100's of domains at just 3 at a time.

Logging into GD and then having to log into the auctions is time consuming.
Having the auction list revert from A-Z listings to Z-A on every search after that is a pain and time consuming.
Pages now resolving and watching the little time circle go around and around without doing anything is a pain and time consuming. I have to log in at different time to be able to get to my domain manager page.

I can't get the "Print order" page to come up EVER.

I could go on and on. I'm on their site alot and things have gotten worse over the years.

Just put the "Site Suggestion" link back on the site and they will get a feel for the problems with the site. Someone at GD probably complained that they had to work to much to fix the problems and it would be easier to just remove the link and ignore the problems. Why else would they remove the link? I'm sure people used it to bitch at GD or ask about one of their domains instead of contacting support, but those are easy to ignore or refer to tech support.

GD fix it. Put the damn "Site Suggestion" link back on the site. Or if you want one person to point out lots of flaws with the site, contact me.

Gone are the days that GoDaddy actually listen to suggestions, IMHO. I stopped suggesting improvements about 5 years ago.

Whenever I have a problem and talk to customer service I always mention some of the problems I am having and I also make suggestions on how to improve the service for us domainers.

They always say they will submit my suggestions and they are glad to hear it.

So far I have never seen anything come of it.

It is just lip service, they don't care what we think, and as far as I can tell they just tell us what we want to hear to keep us as customers.

All the problems lately make me consider moving my domains elsewhere.

I would stay if they would just fix the problems with the site.

I already have domains there.

Godaddy is still good for some purposes and I would like to keep some domains there.

I just wish they would fix their problems
