That is an interesting statistic that around 50% of US Businesses have zero web presence

When we do have members who haven't asked enough questions before purchase, at least if they bought their not so great names at Go Daddy they nicely still offer Grace Delete : thumbs up :

I have seen that first hand when trying to do end user outreach. It was really strange. You would think everyone has a web presence, especially businesses in the US.

Most are only listed on Yelp / Yellow Pages Superpages, etc...only directories.

Weird to hear it, i thought everyone will have it.

Having listing on the listing site doesn't mean a business is having a web presence but thats also true listing companies call the business to list them up for money and think they have got nice web presence (in real nothing achieved).

So now Godaddy's customers, our end user's, are going to show up at Namepros and see that the name we are asking $2,500 for can be bought at wholesale here for 50 bucks. Ggggrrrrreeeeaaaaatttttt.

And that is exactly why I think R. Schwartz's recent statement that the Net has reached critical mass (growth wise) is absolute hogwash.

(Although the 50% claim certainly also needs to be substantiated.)
