We registered a Godaddy emoji domain on their new emoji registration site. The registration was successful, they charged my the fee, and the domain is in our account. But, the the domain does not resolve and we get an error message advising that it doesn't exist. So...
I called Godaddy customer service who, politely told me that it was a tech problem. Tech support contacted me by email implying, that there was indeed a problem.
I responded by implying that thank you, but I hope your customer service can help me solve the problem.
They responded:
" this domain does not appear to be registered. Please provide the correct spelling of the domain name to allow us to further review your request."
So.... I told them that it is indeed registered and the spelling is indicated in the enclosed screen shots of my account. I sent those to them. Now, can you help me?
And.... Their tech people sent me the following, "We want to let you know that your issue regarding the forwarding issue has been escalated to our team and has been placed under further review. Once a resolution has been found, we will get back to you. We thank you for your continued patience in the meantime."
According to the whois, Godaddy possesses the name (but, it is private).
That was two weeks ago. I have tried to email them but, they have ignored me.
So, ... I would like to ask Godaddy, if they read these comments, have you perfected your emoji registration procedure?
Is your tech department at customer service inquiry able to fix our problem?
What is the best way for you to give us the domain that we bought three weeks ago because, we are writing an app for an advertising idea for a customer's product and, we are really excited about implementing it?
