I want to transfer a domain registered in Registerfly to Godaddy.
I paid to Godaddy to transfer it to my account in Godaddy.
I initiated transfer from my godaddy control panel, then owner of the
domain got this email saying this.......
----------
1. Go to godaddy.com

2. Click on My Account

3. Enter your log in name or customer number and password and
click Secure Login

4. Select "Pending Domain Transfers" from the Domain Names
drop-down

5. Select the domain and click on "Transaction ID and Security
Code Required" in the Status column

6. Enter the Transaction ID and Security Code contained within
this email and proceed

-------

Problem is he does't have account with Godaddy, how can he log in to
godaddy control panel?

2003,
This is geting to deep for me.....
hehe
I'm w/ you Ricky G.
It does look like 2003 is in good shape. My *guess*, (and that's as far as I'm willing to go anymore w/ this one!), is that Regfly has opened the gate and their whois is reflective of the pending transfer to GoDaddy who has already been paid and updated the record in 2003's Gddy acct, but it hasn't made it through the the registrie's whois queue, yet. (Unless- ugh- here we go again!...someone's account got charged by Regfly and they renewed it, in which case 2003's name will have a 2 year reg period instead of one). Now that you are safe we've broken it down to the *slim, outside chance* that there was a charge for an extra year of reg w/ a risk factor of $7.95, you are on your own, 2003.
I suggest you work with them to resolve, they are the experts.
The registrar's?? Are you sure of that? That's a new one on me. :D

When changing from one registrar to another all tranfer emails are sent to the ADMIN email contact on file for the domain per ICANN regulations. Were you aware of this?
Also for a .org transfer you must have the auth code from the registrar you are leaving, they are the only ones who can give this to you. This is not the same as the transaction id and security code that Go Daddy gives out.

I have paid for extension of domain from Godaddy as well as RegisterFly, but still it doesn't show new extension date in WHOIS record. According to WHOIS record domain expire today. Is there a problem? At least not look nice for me.
