I think GoDaddy has changed something on their end. I have been using these codes and links for months and suddenly I cannot get any previous unused code to work, in spite of clearing cookies and all the tricks I know of. It is as if they have a flag for accounts that have a history of using multiple codes.

Anyone else experience this or know a technique to work around it?

These coupons are country specific. They apply to the cart for everyone but only work for clients from a certain location like US/Canada.

Have a question- Do you think Godaddy will continue to give new cheap coupons $0.99, $1.99, $2.95 for new .com registrations in future ? Or will it be a temporary thing ?
cos it seems Godaddy stopped giving their cheap renewal coupons but they are still giving out new cheap coupons for new .com registrations regularly

I looked all day today as I bought a couple closeouts, could not find a code that would bring my closeout buy price down, so today I bought a .com for $8 plus $14.99, was just looking at a .net but there was no way I was paying $16.99 plus the $5, I found a coupon code on FatWallet that was a wow code so I won't post it because I know we don't post wow codes here, but I will say I found one that got my price down to $16.22 from $22.17. So I would advise checking Fat Wallet out which I have no affiliation with, if you cannot find what you need here as I could not find one and after trying 20 I just paid the $23.17 earlier on the .com domain name.

Have you tried FREE1 to FREE9? They ALL worked for me for $4 (incl privacy) in the past... new reg + privacy, that is. Cheers.

Well i have used Brandon's code first. But I think those FREE would not work, because I was purchasing privacy for existing domain

Hi!

Godaddy have discontinued renewal codes in favor of their product 'Discount Domain Club'. This decision has been met with a mixed response from GoDaddy users.

I don't think promo codes for new purchases are going anywhere. IMHO.

Unless you're a new customer, the "affiliates" don't actually get anything when you use their codes anyway. I have a few listed on my site just for the sake of completeness, but they're pretty easy to find. You can use the affiliate code generation tool to check whether codes exist, and start guessing. Add random words, and chances are you'll find them. Things like "free" and "domain" work well.
