Tested this one a few hours ago and it worked, came to around $1.75 but couldn't find a discount for privacy reg.

If Godaddy is killing coupons guess I'll be transferring somewhere else.
Not worth the $90/yr for the club for me.

Just checked it again... and... it worked yesterday for me.
Now it looks each renewal code works once per account like so nice cheap .new com registrations.
I did the known tricks with "clear cache/restart/use other computer..." with code gdbb776 and it does not work anymore even so...

godaddy is killing codes left and right it seems. aside from the cheap codes i can't find any way to reg new .com's for any less than 9.99 now. there used to be a ton of codes that woud get it for 7.99.

So that means if there is no more $8.49 renewal codes and if GD is about to raise the prices on renewal codes then its off to Namesilo for me.
Transfers are $8.39 with a year added.

There is no way I am paying more then $8.49 for a renewal when there are other companies out there.

its pretty typical for godaddy to kill a bunch of codes each new year but not like this...kinda worrisome.

Thanks for the update Len. That is so lame! I was not aware they had killed that one, as I just used it as recently as yesterday. WTF?!

After checking all my renewal codes it appears Blodaddy seems to have conducted a sweep with killing most renewal codes, regardless of extension. Time to scour the internet for some new codes. I'll update if I find any, but given most code sites pull their info from this very thread, it may be difficult.

I've scanned this thread and online codes - even the 25-35% off codes that have later expiration dates - and only the $9.99 renewal code has worked for me.

I think there may be some hope since even codes with specific expiration dates aren't working.

Godaddy is garbage now. No renewal coupons, overprice club crap for people who don't own 100+ domains, constantly changing the layout and navigation. Not to mention they like to spam call my phone to upsell me and make it sound like something bad happened to my account. Tried contacting them and haven't heard anything for hours. Ridiculous. ByeBye Godaddy.
