The once common GD $7.67 dot com renewal codes appear to have vanished in the last 24 hours. The best dot com renewal code I found today was gdbbren8 @ 8.67. If the 7.67 era has ended, stand back, the GD drop flood gates are about to ratchet open 13%.

I use Godaddy only because of the codes.
I hate that they advertise you to death with all the extra packages, deals, features and what not, which nobody needs, if you just simply want to register one single domain name, you have click through 100 pages full of extra shit. I only do that because of the codes and sometimes closeouts and auctions. Even if you click "don't show this again", they show it again and again.

If they don't add good codes in the future, i will move all of 800 domains out to a registrar with fix prices with no codes, and a clean page with not so much ads.

Yea, just checked all of my codes and no more $7.49 renewals they are now either $8.49 or not working at all.

This will not go over well, if you are just renewing a few domains a year then that fine but if you are renewing hundreds or in some cases thousands then people are really going to take a closer look at their domains and most likely cut a lot loose.

I have codes which brings it down from 44$ to 33$, don't need these, i need better codes. Like 50% off
Godaddy used to give .mx domains for 15$ each at the beginning.
They are very expensive now.

It is sad to see an elephant like GD falling down. I am looking for another registrar. In the meantime, it is quite strange and unusual that my Executive Account Manager is on vacations. In fact, i have the email of 2 Executive Account Managers, and none is available. WTF?

I sincerely hope that GD is reading all our complaints because...changing registrar is only 1 click away...

Probably this Code works only in US (and maybe Canada)
And not in Europe

Do you have DDC pricing? The code will only work if you have an account without DDC pricing. I know this because I have two accounts. My account has DDC. My wife does not. The codes never work in my account, but always in hers (unless it is expired). I hope this helps.
