They wont be making a nice profit from the domains since it costs them almost $6 more to register the domain then they sell it for so they are losing almost $6 on each of these $1.19 domains. But all they need is a few people to buy hosting from them and they make it back

Most of the registrars (and GoDaddy is no exception) earn their money back on the renewals. Just like your cable company or your cell phone service, the vast majority of people don't switch providers. They may grumble about service, prices, etc..., but won't bother to switch. So getting a new customer (or new domain) at a loss is simply buying a future revenue stream.

The discount may be used on any purchase AFAIK, but you're never allowed to apply two coupon codes to the same order.

I mainly use these 25% off $75 / 25% off $100 codes to purchase backorders. If all you're buying is .com domains, there are better coupon codes out that will shave closer to 30-35% off your order.

You can never combine two discounts on GD. Period. (One exception: You can mix Investors Edge discounts with regular coupon codes.)

If you're purchasing 10 .com domains @ $10.69 each, you should use code yhkw105a to knock your total down from $106.90 to $71.90 (a 33% discount). You may not combine yhkw105a with any other coupon codes.

If you used WEASEL25 on that same order, you'd only whittle the price down to $80.18. Not as hefty a discount.

WEASEL25 works fabulously on backorders though and is the best coupon code available for taking meat of their tags.
