You're doing almost as well as you can at GoDaddy, IMHO - they are giving you the discount automatically because the last code you used happened to include a discount for .ws.

You can get .ws about 20% cheaper at another mainstream registrar, but I hesitate to recommend doing so because with .ws (very unusually of course) you can never change registrars - you have to stay with the one you chose at the start, and that could be a problem if you want to sell to somebody who only recognizes GoDaddy for instance.

i am purchasing a gift-card from someone who is selling it below the par value. is he allowed to sell (he is the owner of the card)

also, the card consists of a number (as i am being told), so is this possible that he himself ends up using the card after i pay him?

gdbb776 still works for .com renewals. I just tried it and it still works. $7.15 with Icann fee.

OYH3 and OHY1 give a discount as well.

Check my blog for some older ones that may still work.
