They are $6.99 at the moment and any code I have tried
will not reduce it - even the 10% won't reduce them anymore
than the $6.99 (7.17)

Bad Godaddy raises prices early.

Its time to shop around. It will be interesting to see the movement of customers from one registrar to another now. The registrar who doesnt raise prices too much will win new (and existing) customers' business, such as mine.
