it does work, you probably have your browser set to block pop-ups.

Products must be new to the customer (not currently owned) to qualify. One 1 yr $1.99* .com, .us, .biz, .info, .name, .net, or .org domain per each qualifying product; new, transfer or renewal. Recurring billing charges, existing product, domain renewals, domain backorders, premium domain names and domain registration products (such as Privacy, Business Registration, Certified Domain, Domain Ownership Protection and CashParking), Gift Cards, photo prints and merchandise, and some "add-on" companion products (such as additional hosting bandwidth and storage) do not qualify as product purchases. Only qualifying domain names included in qualifying purchases are subject to discount.

Privacy on domains, premium domain names, and reduced price domain name bundles are not eligible for additional discount promotions.

Refunds on qualifying products will be reduced by the difference between the current retail price of the discounted domain and $1.99.

* Plus ICANN fee of 22 cents per domain name year. Certain TLD's only.

....also I tested by putting a .com into the basket plus some overpriced junk which reduced the .com to $1.99 + 0.24 icann fee ....it works all right if you want the junk......................

currently it is not worth doing it this way IMHO.
you will get a better deal with the various codes flying around on this thread.

I have to renew five .coms today, which means it's $45.55 something to renew all of them. I tried the code "gdbb776" (posted above earlier) which brought my order down to $35.55.

It ends up being $7.11 per renewel.

Is that the cheapest I will be able to go?
