  • As many people watch this thread to be notified of new codes, please keep discussion to other threads. This isn't a suitable place to discuss the pros and cons of GoDaddy's service, though such posts are certainly welcome elsewhere.

Important Note
Please note that this thread is only for information that directly leads to discounts at GoDaddy.

If you are looking to discuss the recent changes to GoDaddy's promo code policy, please use this thread.

If you have been banned from GoDaddy as a result of alleged promo code abuse, please use this thread.

I don't know if this has been gone over before. Regarding coupon codes, they generally do not apply to renewal products (they do apply for bulk purchases starting at 50 renewals, so I was told). The renewal policy was confirmed today when I spoke with a GoDaddy billing rep. However, after minimal complaining that I was renewing 10 domains, 7 of which were .coms, he knocked off another buck each (so I paid $7.20 each instead of $8.20). I know there are other ways to get less but they take too much time and brainpower. Also noted, I reached a live person in billing within 2 minutes on Sunday morning. That's fast!

The $1.99 (plus $0.25 ICANN) fee applies to renewals, as well as transfers and new registrations.

However, the qualifying purchase must be new, not a renewal.

The lowest price products that I can find is $4.99 (blogger or economy online file folder). Apply one of the many 10% off coupons and it will be $4.49. With it you can renew a domain name (or buy a new one or transfer one) for $1.99. Total with ICANN fee will be $6.73. The lowest price for domain renewal on GoDaddy.

Don't forget to go in and cancel the qualifying product so it will not automatically renew.

What would be the cheapest *transfer* price at GoDaddy? Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks.

Code hash3 still works with renewals as well, knocking it down to $6.95. It's not as cheap as $6.73, but it's a little easier to use.

here's a code for $5.99 .nets. It works, I just used it today.
gdh0902a

Many of the other coupons we've been using seem to have expired, including the usual "saveten" which has worked for ages. Either that or they've changed the qualifications for using most of those percentage-off codes.

first try to change your privacy status without renewing the domains. It should let you. Then renew them after that.

originally all we had to do was click the "manage privacy" section near the "lock" on the right in the list of our domains. I just tried this and am now taken to domainsbyproxy.com, which apparently uses a different login than our GD login. There is a support number for domainsbyproxy though (as well as Go Daddy). Sorry about that; it used to be easier.

that code is supposedly only good through Sept. 10th, but usually these codes last a little past the expiration.

Hey All

Hey All,

Firstly my apologies for not have been updating this thread as per my usual speed, I have been very busy and was not able to come to NP as often or for so long :red: meaning that 4 pages of posts went by without an update

Anyway im back into the swing of things now and will be updating like normal.

For those who were wondering I was traveling in India for the month of august and had limited internet acess.

When I came back there were many things to attend to but now that they are settled things are more normal

I would like to thank all updaters once again.

I will also ask a leader or staff member to review Optimal's status as a new member.

Another thing I am lagging behind in is sorting through the pictures. I took 1543 pictures during my trip, so as soon as they are done I will post them

Thanks

Does anyone know the cheapest way of renewing .tv domans?

It seems no promo codes work for this.

Do you get 1.99 pricing when you get an appraisal and a .tv renewal?
