I got a domain for under $3 last month.

I upgraded a free blog to paid and for some reason, I was only charged for the remaining days of the month and therefore $.50. (Not 2 months hosting)

Therefore I only had to pay $2.74.

I think that this is the cheapest way to get domains through GoDaddy but it is time consuming setting up free blogs.

GD's customer service told me that they are no longer taking coupons on TDNAM purchases. (I told them this meant I would buy a lot fewer TDNAM domains, but this didn't faze them.)

Nope. I tried all the coupons listed in this thread but none seem to work (for renewals). When i add a fresh tv to reg, the discounts then work. So it seems that the coupons are not working with dot TV renewals...
