GoDaddy changes Tag Line...

The old was, Make a .com name with us! TM

The New, The web is your Domain! TM

I sure am glad they changed that, because talk about crappy marketing... That .com line can make your customers only think you sell .com and that's it.

The new tag line is WAY better! Don't you think?

"the web is your domain" is also somewhat of a pun with the word "domain".

what does "the web is your domain" mean?
you host your web at place, and you buy your domain name at different place anyway, why they want to confuse ordinary people?

They pay millions for Superbowl commercials and couldn't afford to pay for someone to write a decent tag line... glad they finally changed it

I'm really surprised they went with a slogan at all, I mean... doesn't that take up valuable ad space they could use to sell another one of their add-on products?
