Hey, i have been trying to back order a domain via godaddy. But i keep getting "bad URL" error 501 or something and now i go back to backorder a name, i search for the but the "backorder this domain" is not available. What do i do ?:td:

Hi, If the name does not show in your account and you have paid you would be best to email them immediately

Placing a backorder does not guarantee that you'll get the backorder. In MOST cases you will never see the name you backorder through them... unless it's something without linkpop, or an ovt score. On the upside... you can use the same backorder to try and grab another domain... and so on until you are successful. Just click the change link and enter a new domain to backorder.

If you get an error when trying, that means someone else already had a backorder on that name through GoDaddy...

Cheyne, also take notice that the backorder is good for 1 year, and you can change it an unlimited number of times during that period.

Yeah, I changed it about every three days and it ran out before I even caught one. I wouldn't recommend using their backorder service.
