GoDaddy and Afternic listings

Hi guys,

I want to listed my domains for sale with godaddy and afternick. I know that godaddy acquired afternick's platform and my question is, should I signup on both sites or just in godaddy. If I will join godaddy my domain listings will be shown up at afternick website?

I think I read somewhere here that if you signup with Afternic and add your domains there, they will get added to GoDaddy. But my advice to you would be to list them on both, so you don't pay Afternic commission rates on sales at GoDaddy.

The GoDaddy/Afternic thing did happen a while ago. But, I haven't really seen anything concrete about their systems being sync'd yet. I would also recommend you list them on both for now just to be safe.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for writing into this topic, I know it's my first message but I would really appreciate your help.

I've bought a domain through Afternic on 02.11.2014. I've paid it immediately and a transaction has achieved "The domain is being transferred" status on 05.11. It has been registered in Tucows and as I can see into whois it is blocked (clientTransferProhibited). It has been 12 days without any change now, I'm trying to contact Afternic by an e-mail and phone for a few days but nobody answers. I don't know where that would be transferred, is Afternic also a registrat? I didn't indicate any registrat where I would like to have this domain transferred.

I need this domain very urgent because I'm officialy registering my company and I just need a name for it. I need to be sure I will take my domain, but at the moment it doesn't look like.

Do you have any idea what should I do now? Afternic's FAQ says the money will be sent back if transfer will not success - do you know after how many days?

Thank you in advance, I'm really confused about this situation, as you can see I'm not a domainer but usual customer who needs this domain for business usage.
