debate Gmail app stopped working

been using it for ages.
flawless
big fan google shit
suddenly stopped working
phone.
disable reupdate don't fix it
noting does
weird
I get no emails in inbox after few uses.. all gone lol
so weird
anyway just wanna say thank god for web versions of shit
i hate apps anyway
thank god most apps have web versions

works great..
even faster
better
plus zero space use for app
cause alcy he oldschool only 16gb internal storage.. on phone

but got big 256gb sd card
except some apps like gmail cant be moved to ext storage

and no .. older phone nothing to do with this failure.. like I said zero issues for 6years on tis setup

anyway that's my rant for the day

Have you tried deleting the cache & app data. Sometimes reinstalling an app will also restore the data from the backup, so if it becomes corrupted a simple reinstall won't work.

yep gmail app cant be uninstalled
but disable is good

did it few time

nothing

I'm just gonna conclude they did something with new updates

maybe general bug they will fix

maybe something that affects only older phones.. I guess possible

web version good tho

except for the big banner on top to get app lol

oh well.. does the job... zero storage space.

it gets even more weird lol
I can pinpoint exactly when and how it stopped working

i was typing reply in app to u unstoppable domains support and did attachment of 5 screenshots.

then pressed send... and I remember this reply sat in outbox not get sent.. and soon after all went downhill... inbox msgs vanished... etc

of course just from app vanished.. still in cloud and all worked fine on web version

from this moment I wasnt able to make work again.
