i can only get that when i go to makati city which is 13 km's drive from our house.

I see.. well, the distance you have to drive means you save money. With things close by, you tend to spend more.

I just got a different body wash sample in the mail yesterday (from Walmart).

supermarkets here don't give freebies away esp. in the mail where it gets lost easily.
the freebie we can get here is via royalty points where you add up and get some items for it, adding it up means 1 point = P50 thats a lot of things you have to buy first usually will take 6 months or more for an average buyer.

like for example getting an umbrella you have to spend P5,000 (U.S.$125) first before getting your hands on that umbrella but the most famous excuse of them all is "out of stock" and you need to wait like months again before the promo is reopened.
