Getting mine domains back

Hey, i recently sold a domain to someone, that person then promise to pay, so i transfered the domain to his godaddy account. he hasnt payed me and hasnt replied to my emails. What do i do now? i contacted godaddy and they said to contact WIPO (The World Intellectual Property Organization, [email protected]). i just contacted them, is there any thing i can do now? i REALLY WANNA GET BACK at this person . But i will keep cool until i know where i stand, i need all you advice

He may not be a member here imho. You know the scam email where they ask if they ask you for the value of your domain name? you say $1000000 to him and he says OK now get an appraisal for me? could the scammers not be doing this running off sedo? has the name been listed on sedo at all dre?

I also think if this guy has scamed you that he wouldn't have said he was a member on any forum could because that could bring heat on him later on if he tries to sell it. Most scammers make a mistake and you can bank on it he will. Contact the new owner as stated above tell him whats going on and he may even give you the domain do a charge back on his/her ass and buy the domain name for you? Its got to be worth a try mate

im not sure, i only posted the domains here and he said he was from namepros, his name is Phil Hunt/Foster (think he uses two), email is younggunss{@}gmail.com

That's not quite true. You posted it for sale on a number of forums, as well as listing it at Sedo. Regardless, he could have seen it here even if he wasn't a member and simply pretended to be a member to gain your confidence.

Collect whatever information you have and pass it on to the admins. If he is a member here they may be able to help track him down.

I see you managed to get that other name back from this guy but not this one? Can you give us a follow up on what happened? It could be helpful for others to learn how to deal with similar problems.

So how did you approach the guy he sold it on to?

Also, one idea I had. With all the stories about guys who sell names via something like paypal, get the money, hand it over, and later loose the money because of a credit card charge back or whatever; Might this be a way to have someone buy the name back and not be out of pocket?

Yes never transfer your domains unless they pay you first.
