Getting mine domains back

Hey, i recently sold a domain to someone, that person then promise to pay, so i transfered the domain to his godaddy account. he hasnt payed me and hasnt replied to my emails. What do i do now? i contacted godaddy and they said to contact WIPO (The World Intellectual Property Organization, [email protected]). i just contacted them, is there any thing i can do now? i REALLY WANNA GET BACK at this person . But i will keep cool until i know where i stand, i need all you advice

First of all, I am sorry that you lost your domains. Secondly- Never transfer your domains to the other party if you have not been paid up front, the reason being is once the domain or domains are in the possession of the other party-they become legal owner and any complaints made by you will be pointless as you will be asked why you transferred the domains to the party with out payment being made.
Your mistake, you have to live with it and learn the lesson.

I know how you feel-I have never done that but I can imagine how pissed you must be that he/she would take advantage of you but that is sadly a life lesson.
Trading Domains is a Business and as such-Business people will screw one another as much as possible (some, not all) It is those who wish to take advantage that you must keep a weary eye upon.

What good would taking him/her to court do? What proof beyond your word versus his/hers that you didn't just regret selling the domain for a low price and now want it back?

remember actions speak louder than words. Never automatically think someone is going to pay you because they said they will. Unfortunately in business people will very rarely tdo the honourable thing and will screw you over given the chance.

Disputes happen daily. That's what courts and mediators are for.

That sucks. You might want to contact the new registrant to tell them what happened. If they are using an escrow service it might give them a chance to back out without loosing their money. Did you sell him any other names? It would be worth keeping an eye on those. At least put the word out so that other people don't get scammed.

I think your best bet right now is to put out some warnings and see if anyone else has run into him or knows something about him. He might feel safe behind fake names and addresses, but if someone can point out who he is you may be more willing to talk. Where did you meet him? If a forum contact the admin.

im not sure, i only posted the domains here and he said he was from namepros, his name is Phil Hunt/Foster (think he uses two), email is younggunss{@}gmail.com
