Getting hits on mini sites

Ok I have tried a bunch of different techniques and services to get backlinks and improve seo on some mini sites that I have been buying and building.

I am not getting results (hits) from anything except from the service at AEIOU. $250 mini site service.

Basically I'm looking for some advice on tried and true techniques available. Or maybee I should just keep going with AEIOU.

Feel free to plug your own services. If the ROI is good I'm all ears.

You are absolutely right Corey. I understand that content is king. And I am always looking to improve and increase.

I'm trying to figure out what to do to get these initial hits. The AEIOU sites have good content but many of my other sites have as good or better and don't generate nearly as much traffic.
