GETTING 500,000 uniques a month for fitness site

Only started the site nine months ago, but in the last three months have got around 500k a month in unique visitors...

Is there any accepted formula for what one could expect to bring in from sponsors and banner ads for this amount of traffic???

I would hit up affiliate programs for supplements, gyms, machines, etc. Your ctr will be shitty no matter what you do really, but the payout would probably be more than adsense or similar.

Great question and yeah that is nice traffic for a website only 9 months in existence.

I would have to say it would be pretty dependent on advertising competition in relation to the content of the site. I realize that advertisers can pay for spots regardless of what the site's content is but I think it would appeal to them more if the site had information pertaining to their product/service.

Anyway good luck and I would like to hear more about this from an expert in ad placement or someone who is very successful with advertising integration into heavy traffic sites(RJ?) :p
