Not really sure. Obviously you can't commercialize it, the only one who can is George Lucas himself. (Extreme exceptions, such as similarly named people, but even then they have to prove they are not cashing in on Lucas' fame).

So all you are looking for is traffic-related hits, which just isn't happenin' nowadays. Personally, I don't want anything to do with a domain which can be snagged for trademark violation at any time.

You MAY try Lucas himself, but if he says no, then you may be in the same jam as before.

If you know something about Lucas he sues people for using his trademarks , regging star wars names or uses star wars in any way or fashion Im sure he would be all over anyone who regs his name. Do not offer it to him , thats legal suicide. Since he is hte only person who this domain has any value its worthless.

Well funniliy enough one of the main reasons i brought it is because my name is George Lucas, and before you ask my parents didn't love star wars :D

So i may develop it as a online portfolio,

HAd a feeling thats your name based on your screen name. As long as you stay away from any star wars references you should be good since thats your name.
