Generating domains with "dotcom"

What do you think about generating domains with "dotcom" ?
I know some sites had success ,ex:dotcomagency

Do you use "dotcom" for an alternative of "com domains" "domains" or what?
I have registered greatdotcom.com and i love it :P

I personally think that "dotcom" domains sound goofy if you say it. Great Dot Com Dot Com :imho: But I think the domain you've chosen is pretty good.

There's one marketing domain I know of that has "dotcom" in their domain that just launched within the last week and they've made it very successful so any domain has potential. :tu:

I do not announce my domain to the world by spelling it :blink:
search engines, other sites etc are the ways to promote it
And there are sites which had success
Dotregistrar, DotComAgency...
I understood your point and agree, every domain generated with dotcom might not sound so good, but there are exceptions.
