Gates pledges better software security

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates is pledging to continue improvements to security in his company's products, part of a high-stakes campaign to convince large customers that Windows software is safe.

I know someone who's father used a SmartCard for his gov't issue LapTop. It was a blast. The number on it changed after 10 seconds, and it would change at the same speed on the computer, only on the computer you don't see it, because you need to match the two. Duh.
