Something AMAZING happened today

I purchased regular unleaded gas for only $2.99 a gallon.

I was in such shock, the gas station down the street was $3.39. We filled up my wife's Expedition that normally takes $100+ to fill up only cost $75.

The gas station owner said they were just running a special because he was able to get a few trucks of gas cheap. Still though, the price of gas has gone down a lot of the last couple of weeks. Gas was just about to hit $4 a gallon in Florida, now it's down to $3.39.

Wow you are lucky. There is radio station around where i live that gives free gas to 100 people every Friday. The problem is that they do not tell you the location until the second they open the line up.

Why can't gas just go back to $1.20 a gallon?

We came down from $3.54 to presently $2.75 / gallon - across 95% of the gas stations in Fargo, ND.

It's not that your gas station owner has gotten a few loads for cheap, it's a nationwide effect. Supplies meet demand this time 'round, getting prices to drop.
Let's enjoy the deflation before it turns into inflation and gas prices like in the 70's.

We went down yesterday to $1.28 CDN a litre
and today it went down to $1.22 CDN WOOT!!!
That's roughly $4.88 a gallon :o

Fill up an 18 wheeler and bring it to me!!!!! 3.29 is the cheapest here right now AFAIK..but it is amazing, 3 days ago it was around 3.69......

What is one Gallon in $$ to Liters in Aussie and the price we pay in Aud.. per Gallon USD

Anyone know.... I was thinking us aussie are paying 3-4 times what people in the USA are paying..

The same place I got gas for $2.99 is now down to $2.79. Gas prices are down over $1 in the last two months. I don't understand it.

The price of a barrel of crude oil has dropped from its peak of $147 a barrel to under $70 a barrel.

One litre is about 1.1 of a gallon..

We're still at $1.22cdn a litre here - even though the prices
of the barrel dropped....the gas in BC hasn't

its going to go up, today OPEC change there November meeting date to a closer date in Oct, that only means one thing, they want to cut pumping oil down as soon as possible so oil rates can go back up
