Name is pretty self explanatory
Any career site or something related to the future
fundingthefuture.com Jan 1, 2013 sold for $3,250.00
FundingTheFuture.com and FutureFinding.com don't have anything in common except the word 'future' in it, which I don't get your logic in quoting that sale.
worth $0
Who are you going to sell it to? What company or business or organization is going to say "Yes! I want FutureFinding.com and I will pay xxxx amount of dollars for it, this name is one of a kind, sounds great and will be the center of our business, we will not seek any other alternative. FutureFinding.com is what we will focus all of our online endeavors around, we will develop this name as it will attract an audience. FutureFinding.com can go viral, we cannot believe this person paid $5 dollars to register this name last month, how did they come up with such a name? It will add credibility to our brand, when we tell our customers visit us at FutureFinding.com, they'll be impressed and know we are serious players. This name is better than what we've already invested in, I will give them $1,000 dollars for it!"
Yes, a lot of sarcasm above, but it's true, if me typing that sounds like a joke, then what does that tell you about its quality?
That should be a pre-registration test, remove "FutureFinding.com" from the previous paragraph and insert the domain you plan to register, if it sounds comical when repeating it, then don't register. If it sounds believable, you've got something.
You have to ask yourself these questions, and if several hundred or thousands of possible prospects don't come to mind or even a few dozen prospects which you feel the name would suit perfectly and would benefit or better their business by making it easier to promote, add credibility to their brand, etc, you don't have yourself a winner.
