It doesn't matter whether he posts it. For each LLL.com there exist multiple backorders, sending every dropped LLL.com to snap for auction.
As a matter of fact, he's doing you a favor for the case that you could have any interest in this domain, now you know that you should start standing in line for it @ snap.
