Sometime next week we expect to launch a major new product area we are calling "The Domain Name After Market". You will be able to get to it through the GoDaddy.com website or by typing www.tdnam.com into your browser.

Can't wait! I hope he takes my suggestions about making it non-auction!

Where did you find this information?

That's pretety cool. Looks like but another great service at GoDaddy.

No need to wait. www.tdnam.com is already up and running.

I like what I see so far.. except browsing names is tedious. Listing your name costs $1.95 per quarter, plus 7.5% commission upon sale.

interesting (but pricey if you have hundreds to list).

wonder how this will do. enough perhaps to wake greatdomains from the ego induced coma maybe?

yeah this product is not what Briman was talking about, their going after SEDO and Afternic. Briman to your idea no auction, fine BUY DOMAINS and others submit a request for every lll.com to drop first before everyone else they will still get them Only cheaper.

Hmm,Interesting move,I hope the best for em though.I agree with RJ,The list is just to difficult,Gets very tiring fast.Needs some order to it.

Q) How does the Premier Auction Model work?
Items listed in the Premier Auction section of the Domain Name Aftermarket are recently expired domains registered at the Go Daddy Group. While the current registrant still can renew the domain after the successful ending of an auction, this is very rare. If you are the successful bidder on a premier auction domain, and the current registrant of the domain renews the domain in the redemption grace period, you will be notified via e-mail and all your funds will be refunded to you.

Well Briman BOB is using auction too

They have no control over where someone reges an expired name.Something i learned here recently is back ordering is a bunch of bull.Watch the drop and snag it.The way thier system is set up reminds me much of what afternic is running.

Yeah, not quite what I was asking for, but hey, they already had this fully developed before I wrote him the letter. There is still room for a service that solves some of the problems created by Snapnames and Enom.

Just hope it sinks in eventually... I believe Bob is a good guy from all I've read from him and about him.

BRi whats the answer though? those with money would go to GO DADDY use scripts for every name that was going to expire say LLL.com AND say I want the 7500 that expire over the next year for example and we will pay upfront the $25 fee to back order it.

Where at NamePros did you learn that?

If a few of the major drop partners/players are 'seriously' after a 'truly' good name, your chances to hand register it are just slightly above 0%, so I don't understand what you mean.

It was'nt here at Namepros,It was from a very good source though.I actually snaged a name away from a person that was on enoms backorder for the same name.As they say,,They will try to get you the name,,I know the exact date and have just about got the time down that a name will drop,Why should i shell out 18.95 when i can snag it myself?? But if your talking about a DN worth thousands,No i wont get that name,But niether will backorders most likely,It then becomes a money game.

Parking should be next incoroporate this with PPC. I mean Moniker just coming out with PPC parking club and DN forum coming out with their own, logical for GO DADDY to have PPC to compliment this program.
