You are about a decade late Even that Friendster has closed down TM issues is still an option. I highly doubt any serious developer would start a new Friendster at .us

Perhaps someone will be interested in the .us for some small project, but don't expect more than something in the $xx range.

I think it's going to be a tough one to get rid off. Maybe hang onto it too see if you get any offers during the registration period of the domain but if it doesn't sell and it comes up for renewal, if I were you I probably wouldn't renew it and will let it drop.
