Hello friends,

I had made a thread in the 'Available Domains sections' but thought that it may now be more appropriate to create a new thread in the Expiring Domain sections because now our tool includes Expiring Domains.

For many people that have been using this tool, there isn't really a need to an introduction. But to those that have not used it before, you will find it really handy, simple to use, and very powerful tool to acquire expiring domains from TDNAM.

The Free tool scans the TDNAM "closeouts" and "expiring names" section on an hourly basis and provides Page Rank, Checks if the PR is suspicious, Domain Age, and many other analytics at the finger tip of the user.

Some neat features include a quick filter for 'LLL', 'LLLL', 'NNN', 'NNNN', 'English Words', 'Pinyin Words', 'Spanish Words', and many more...all done with just one click of the button.

I hope you all enjoy this tool and continue to use it for all your tdnam acquisitions. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to improve the tool, feel free to post them here. We have been very responsive to many requests and have implemented many of them into the tool. Freshdrop.net is truly a domain tool built and designed by domainers for domainers.

Enjoy and happy hunting: www.freshdrop.net

Let me know what you guys think of the site and if there is anything you want to add to the site. Also, if you pick up some good names using this tool, please mention it in the thread.

- Bob

Holy crap, I haven't been to FreshDrop in a while. The "new" (when did you update it?) ajaxified site is stunning!

Of course, I've got suggestions:

When you click the header title to sort, it should go from highest to lowest first. For example, if I click the PR header, I am most likely looking for PR names and don't care for the 0 PR names, so I end up clicking twice. Am I making sense?

The CRITERIA FILTER drop down menus don't seem to work in Google Chrome (like the FAKE PR yes or no menu)

Is there a way to filter OUT adult names? They seem to take up 99% of the listings sometimes.

Thanks Bob!

Thanks for the compliment on Freshdrop's new interface. That is a very cute baby you have.

We recently performed a major upgrade to Freshdrop.net and it has some undesired consequences. We are now working on resolving any issues that arrised from the update, including the reversed order on many analytics in the Grid. We hope to have any issues resolved shortly.

To filter out adult names, the best suggestion I can make is to you the quick filters, such as English or Keys. These should be free of adult terms.

I love Freshdrop and use it almost every day, but is it just for me since the upgrade that the only names listed are adult?

Using the quick filter, such as English, eliminates all results completely.

Please don't worry. Everything will be back to normal soon and the site should run even more smoothly than ever before.

Thanks for letting me know - I use the site almost every day and it has allowed me to get some great names which have tremendous end user potential if not already sold!

Glad to hear. I remember the early days of FreshDrop and have enjoyed watching it grow.

Thank you. He's finally asleep, which means I have two free hands and can type at normal speed now.

You're right, "KEYS" seems to do the trick. Thanks.

A couple more suggestions:

Move the FILTER button to the top of the box, since it gets hidden at the bottom of an iframe once you expand the options menus.

Domain Criterias => Domain Criteria

Still says (C)2008 on the bottom.

RegFee,

Great suggestions! We added an additional Filter button at the top so it makes it more efficient to click on the Filter button.

We are working on the default sorts for the columns now.

Bob,
I'm assuming the "regfee" domains are just regular expired domains. Is there a way to limit the "regfee" domains to just those which dropped today? I found the "day" option under Domain Criteria but it doesn't seem to work with the "regfee" option.

Thanks,
Jorge

I've got a suggestion for you.

All the other dropcatchers provide a downloadable list of expiring domains in .txt
I tried to find a downloadable list from Godaddy auctions but couldn't find one. Maybe you could provide this expiring domain list for download? At the very least, if you don't want to make it downloadble for free, then let us subscribers download it. It's a pain to my wrist to repeat the "copy, paste" from the GD website to my Notepad.

First of all you have great site.. and congratulations for that.

I would like to have feature called "sub sorting" i.e. something like once I sort out domain name with highest number of GBL and then among that sort out domain names with highest number of YBL. This function is part of excel, I don't know if you can provide it online.

thanks,

Sid

Also some of the data is reported incorrectly and I don't know why that happens.
For example, a3guo.us is showing 35.2K YBL, but when I check in submitexpress.com it shows only one YBL. Why this difference?

Does Freshdrop.net dynamically checks the update in backlinks because it may happen that when you pool the name in your database it may have more backlinks but they eventually expire.

However, just based on freshdrop.net if you rely on backlinks you may be in for big surprize.

I would like to have Gorila Bob explaining this...

regardless of it, this is wonderful site and is extremely useful.

Seems to be down at the moment? The page loads, but the grid-list of domains just says "Loading"

(Brilliant tool, by the way! :))

Cheers, Jon
