Hello friends,

I had made a thread in the 'Available Domains sections' but thought that it may now be more appropriate to create a new thread in the Expiring Domain sections because now our tool includes Expiring Domains.

For many people that have been using this tool, there isn't really a need to an introduction. But to those that have not used it before, you will find it really handy, simple to use, and very powerful tool to acquire expiring domains from TDNAM.

The Free tool scans the TDNAM "closeouts" and "expiring names" section on an hourly basis and provides Page Rank, Checks if the PR is suspicious, Domain Age, and many other analytics at the finger tip of the user.

Some neat features include a quick filter for 'LLL', 'LLLL', 'NNN', 'NNNN', 'English Words', 'Pinyin Words', 'Spanish Words', and many more...all done with just one click of the button.

I hope you all enjoy this tool and continue to use it for all your tdnam acquisitions. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to improve the tool, feel free to post them here. We have been very responsive to many requests and have implemented many of them into the tool. Freshdrop.net is truly a domain tool built and designed by domainers for domainers.

Enjoy and happy hunting: www.freshdrop.net

Let me know what you guys think of the site and if there is anything you want to add to the site. Also, if you pick up some good names using this tool, please mention it in the thread.

Yes this is happening at the beginning of my browser session.
Not sure of the logic but it maybe how IE is handling the loading of the table after the actual "Loading" screen appears.

If I have a bid for $5, how much do I pay for Godaddy?

Suggestion: The google search results metric is not working correctly. Most of the domains with high google results are misspelings of popular terms and the results are not accurate.

This is still a problem.

Also, the Google metrics and other metrics are not sorting properly.

Hi thevirtual,

I've checked sorting and they all seem to be working fine. Is it possible that you email a screen shot of your errors to support [at] freshdrop.net? Once we see the image we would be able to review and see if it is an issue.

For the google search results metric, this is an issue with google. Apparently google is rolling out changes to their search engine that incorporates "corrections" to search terms within their search results. This happens even if you do a literal search for the term -- which is what we do.

We are internally working on a experimental proprietary fix for this, but this is basically "hacking" the google search queries to get desired results.

Thanks,

Bob

There seems to be a problem with the Time Left metric. I tried to display only domains with 0 days left, but the results are showing domains with more than 1 day.

Should be resolved now. Thanks for the headsup. :)

hi from oz..Great stuff.
I notice today that the max time domains were shown was 2 days 17 hours. I think from my faded memory that it used to be 4 days 17 hrs so i cannot look at fresh domains.

Also, what i would like to see is to be able to only show domains with alr. I have not figured out what i stick in the from and to boxes to show only all domains with alr.

Any help appreciated.

Amazing tool and I love the new design. It seems a lot more intuitive now than it did last time I tried.

My only question is... how does the TDNAM process work? I found a domain I'd like to pick up and I'm about to pay $5 + reg fee + TDNAM subscription. The sale type is "Buy Now" so does that mean I'll get the domain instantly? Or if others try to buy (or have "bought"), it'll go into auction?

--EDIT-- Kinda answered my own question, though I'm still waiting for the domain to show up in my domain manager.

"Q) How does the Buy Now option work?

Unlike other auction sites, the Domain Name Aftermarket leaves the Buy Now option available until an offer equal to the Buy Now amount is reached. If your bid equals the Buy Now price, the listing will immediately close and you will be awarded the domain."

I noticed the TDNAM listing now says "Closed" instead of the time remaining, so it appears my purchase went through! :D Thanks Freshdrop!

Opalxx,

The domains should all be listed now. Thanks for the headsup. To filter by ALR, use the filter box and type in something like 1 to 100000. This will give you only domains that have ALR from 1 to 100000.

Kevin,

Great that you were able to make it work. With tdnam domains, after you purchase it, there is a 3-7 day waiting period before it is placed into your account. During this period, only the previous owner of the domain may reclaim it, but it would be at a significant cost for them to do so.

Hope this helps and great to here that you are all enjoying our services.

Please make a option of shorting as Google Page rank wise.

buyprdomain,

Not sure I understand your question. Currently you should already be able to sort by google page rank or any other column. Simply click on the column header and it will sort by that specific column.

Hope this helps.

PR domains

Is there any way to catch PR domains from your tools ?
I meant without auction ?
moreover snap, namejet has put more number of PR domains which is parked domains and not expiring in near future , will it be dropped by them?, can it be grabbed without backordering?(because i have tool for grabbing domains)

what do you think about it?

Well I successfully grabbed imageuploader.org, but the other domain ended up being a typo - hopefully GoDaddy will refund me for that one. You really gotta be careful about snatching some of these, the typos are sometimes difficult to notice.

EDIT: Turns out they won't due to accepting their terms. Ah well, $5+renewal down the drain. =\

Many thanks. This morning though i am just getting a blank page and no domains listed for all options. I have got this a couple of times previously after filtering just dot tv and dot us.

Opalxx,

Yeah I was getting that too. It took a few days to see that it was because of a New Year's bug in the system. Finally resolved now though. :)

Congrats to everyone that are finding good names. I found one the other day:

offshore[dot]tv and picked it up. A few days later i had an offer on sedo for $1k for the name. :) I'm celebrating, but I think I will keep it even though the money is good since it's such a good keyword name and I may decide to develop it in the future.
